10.SS-Panzer-Division. The division’s SS-PzAA 10 was formed in October 1943 and took part in the battles in Normandy and in the fighting for the Rhine bridge at Arnhem.

In December 1944 the battalion was allocated three Sdkfz 234/1 and three Sdkfz 234/3 armoured cars. The division was held in reserve during the Ardennes Offensive but later took part in Operation Nordwind. In February 1945 the division was transferred to the Eastern Front and was engaged in the defence of Stargard and Fürstenwalde before withdrawing across the Oder River at Stettin, modern-day Szczecin in Poland.
